Jimmy Davis

Jimmy Davis joined Paul Shearman Allen & Associates in October 2008 as an Associate Attorney. 

Prior to joining PSA&A, Jimmy earned his J.D. from the University of the District of Columbia, David A. Clarke School of Law, where he developed much of his initial practical experience from the school’s nationally acclaimed Clinical Program – working for the Community Development and Small Business Law Clinic as well as the Low Income Taxpayers’ Clinic. 

While in law school, Jimmy was a legal intern for the Capital Area Immigrants’ Rights Coalition, where he successfully litigated a contested area of unsettled law before the Arlington Immigration Court and specialized in analyzing the immigration consequences of criminal convictions.  Jimmy also clerked for Ai & Associates in Rockville, MD, where he worked on various immigration, family law, and First Amendment tort litigation. 

Jimmy received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor concentration in Spanish from Salisbury University in Maryland. 

Jimmy has been a member of the Maryland Bar since 2008. He is also a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association. In the summer of 2009, Jimmy was recognized for his “Outstanding Commitment to Defending the Rights and Dignity of Detained Immigrants” for his previous work at the CAIR Coalition.
